ONE-TIME PRISON LEGAL CONSULTATIONS

Our firm offers a special one-time prison visit to provide a legal
consultation with your family member, loved one, or friend.
Sometimes these visits answer questions about whether further
action can be taken in either an appeal or through the
parole/commutation process. This is what we offer:

1.  A one-time confidential legal visit with your friend or loved one in his
or her place of confinement for as long as the institution will allow, which
is usually no more than two and a half hours.
2.  Review of the legal papers the inmate brings to the visiting room.
3.  Legal advice to the inmate on his or her situation and possible, if
any, remedies.
4.  With the inmate's permission, a report to you (the payor) about the
results of the meeting.
5.  If after the meeting you retain us for further services, the legal fee for
the one-time visit is applied as a credit toward your additional fee.

These special visits DO NOT include reviewing the inmate's trial or
appellate paper in advance of the meeting. (See our section on case
reviews). The fee for the meeting includes our time in scheduling the
meeting with the prison, travel to and from the prison, waiting time to
enter the visiting area, and a visit with the inmate for as long as the
inmate desires or the maximum amount of time the prison allows.
